Confirmation and a deposit are required before work commences. Simply Floor Cleaning reserves the right to amend the initial estimate or quotation should the Client's original requirements change. If a Simply Floor Cleaning operative needs to collect keys from a third party's address outside where the work is to be carried out, charges may apply. The Client agrees to clear obstructions and ensure that underfloor heating is off before Simply Floor Cleaning personnel arrive at the premises.
The Client agrees to provide, free of charge, power, water, and any other facilities we require to provide service. All floor-cleaning prices are subject to a minimum charge. The Client is responsible for arranging parking for our vehicle while we are on the Client's premises. Parking Costs incurred while providing the service will be charged to the client. Congestion and other zone compulsory charges will be charged to the client if the Client's property falls within the London Congestion Charge Zones.
Privacy statement:
The only information we gathered about you was given during the booking. This information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Simply Floor Cleaning respects users' personal privacy! Any and all information collected at this site will be kept strictly private. The Policy statement is an extension of our commitment to combining the finest quality services with the highest level of integrity in dealing with our clients, suppliers, associates, and staff.
Claims:
Simply Floor Cleaning has public and employer liability insurance. The policy will cover any accidental damage costs incurred by any person working on behalf of Simply Floor Cleaning. The Clients accept and understand that any damages must be reported within 24 hours of the cleaning date. Failure to do so will entitle the Client to nothing.
Simply Floor Cleaning advises that the Client or a Client's Representative must be present at the time of completion of the service so an inspection can be carried out and any corrections made on-site on the same day before operators leave the premises. In the event of damage, Simply Floor Cleaning, through its insurance company, will repair or replace the item (s) if it agrees that it caused the damage. Simply Floor Cleaning does not accept liability for water damage to unprotected and unsealed skirting, furniture, or panels resting on the floor. The client is responsible for adequately sealing any gap between the floor and the material. If the item/s cannot be repaired, Simply Floor Cleaning will rectify the problem through its insurance company by crediting the Client with the item/s if the damage is proven by our personnel.
If a client is not completely satisfied with the cleaning services, Simply Floor Cleaning will re-clean any areas and item/s on the same day before the completion of the service. All fragile and highly breakable item/s must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are cash and jewellery. Simply Floor Cleaning reserves the right to cease the job if, upon inspection, the material to be cleaned or treated is not suitable for cleaning or treatment. Simply Floor Cleaning will not continue with the job if, for example, water or power is unavailable, or if the work is interfered with by the Client or any other person. Clients should appreciate that floors will often not have a consistent appearance after cleaning due to differences in wear and tear. Sunlight can sometimes cause fading on the floor, and cleaning cannot rectify it. Stains are not always visible before dirt is removed, and it may not be possible to eradicate those stains. Simply Floor Cleaning will use its best efforts to provide a good result, but Clients are asked to be aware of these limitations, which are common to all cleaning operations.
Payment:
The Client agrees to pay a 25% booking deposit to confirm the work and authorises Simply Floor Cleaning to charge upon completion any outstanding amounts owed to Simply Floor Cleaning with regards to the cleaning service provided plus parking and congestion fees (If any) All one-off cleaning services: Payment to be paid by Cash or bank transfer plus parking fees or Congestion Charge Zone charges (If any). All bookings are subject to a 25% deposit. The balance is due upon completion of the cleaning that day. The deposit will only be refunded if the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of booking. The client may be charged an administration fee if cleaning is not rescheduled. The Client agrees that, should Simply Floor Cleaning be required to engage a debt collection agency or institute legal proceedings to pursue payment, the Client will be liable for all costs incurred. The Client will be responsible for all bank and legal charges resulting from a Dishonoured Cheque. The Client agrees to pay 40% of the quote as a cancellation fee if the Client cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. The Client agrees to pay 40% of the quoted amount as a cancellation fee in the event of a lock-out caused by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; no water or power available at the Client's premises; or a problem with the Client's keys. They must be able to open the lock without special effort or skills if keys are provided. If an initial deposit has been made to Simply Floor Cleaning, the Client agrees that deposit funds may be used to cover the cancellation fee.
After cancellation of the cleaning service:
By paying a deposit and entering into a service agreement with Simply Floor Cleaning, the Client agrees that, for up to 6 months after the termination of the cleaning service, he/she will not hire or use any cleaner provided to the Client by Simply Floor Cleaning. If the Client wishes to hire or use cleaning services offered by such a cleaner, he/she must pay a referral fee of £ 1,000. By ordering Simply Floor Cleaning service by telephone, e-mail, phone, or website, the Client agrees to be bound by Simply Floor Cleaning's terms and conditions. The relevant United Kingdom laws shall govern these terms and conditions, and by agreeing to be bound by them, the Client agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom. Simply Floor Cleaning reserves the right to change any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice. Please check this website for updates.
